Program Overview

In the Asian part of Russia, only TPU trains engineers in the field of chemical technology of rare, scattered, radioactive and noble materials. This is one of the few programs where the training period of 5.5 years has been preserved, and upon completion, the qualification of an engineer is awarded.

During their studies, students do practical training at industrial enterprises, including the military-industrial complex, and also participate in scientific research, the results of which are applied, for example, at Rosatom.

Skills and Competences

  • ensure the technological process in accordance with the requirements of technological regulations
  • develop plans, programs and methods for research of materials and technological processes
  • conduct experimental research in the field of modern energy materials technology
  • create theoretical models for predicting the properties of materials in modern energy
  • develop flow diagrams, perform calculation of technological parameters, calculation and selection of equipment
