Do you want to get one of the most in-demand majors in Russia with unlimited development potential? Join the Intelligent Electronics program at TPU! More than 5000 job offerings with starting salaries from 60,000 rubles.

Our graduate

  • Develops and program microprocessor devices, embedded systems and electronic automation tools;
  • Designs electronic devices, circuits and equipment for various purposes using modern computer-aided design systems;
  • Prepares design and technical documentation according to Unified System of Engineering Drawings;
  • Participates in the installation, testing and commissioning of electronic equipment prototypes.

How is the training organized?

The Master's degree program in Intelligent Electronics is multi-track and offers three professional tracks:

Electronics Engineer deals with the creation, design and calculation of various electronic systems and devices. He works in the field of electronics, which deals with the transmission, processing and storage of information, including the use of microcontrollers. After mastering this track, you will be able to design and develop electronic devices for various purposes such as communications, industry, industrial automation, transportation and others. You will learn to conduct R&D in the field of new technologies that can be used to create modern electronic systems.

Embedded Systems Engineer designs, develops, tests and maintains embedded systems and Internet of Things systems. Embedded systems are computer systems that are used in devices such as phones, cars, appliances, and industrial equipment. After passing this track, you will be able to design the hardware and software parts of embedded systems. You’ll learn to design electronic circuits, printed circuit boards, microcontrollers, and other components of the hardware part of the system. Create software for embedded systems that controls the hardware and provides the specified functions.

Space Systems Engineer deals with the development, design, testing and maintenance of electronic systems and devices for space projects. After this track, you will be able to design and develop communication, navigation, control, monitoring and other systems that are used in spacecraft in one of the divisions of Roscosmos State Corporation. These systems must be reliable, radiation resistant, and resistant to the extreme conditions of space.

Students choose a professional track after the first semester, after they familiarize themselves with scientific teams, features and opportunities of the educational program. The program training can be combined with work in the chosen field, the opportunities for which are provided.
