With the Information Technology and Data Mining program, you will learn to analyze processes, build models, identify complex patterns in data arrays, automate decision-making processes and design customized information systems.

Key competencies

  • knowledge of statistical methods, machine learning methods, neuroevolutionary algorithms and neural network models used at the stage of analysis and decision-making;
  • in-depth knowledge of modern methods and tools for designing IT systems and technologies for various purposes;
  • ability to work in a team and experience in project management;
  • command of professional English;
  • ability to define and analyze manufacturing business processes and performance indicators of a company according to international standards;
  • skills to work out and support managerial decisions with the use of intellectual data processing technologies;
  • proficiency in search, development, implementation and maintenance of corporate information systems and technologies to facilitate production operations.

Within the program, students can choose from two tracks: Business Analysis and Information Systems Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Graduates of Business Analysis and Information Systems Engineering track analyze enterprise operations and deal with IT solutions in business management. They have competencies in such areas as analytics, systems engineering, IT systems development and implementation, modernization and customization to meet the specific requirements of an enterprise.

Specialists in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning use algorithms to design models that are capable of learning independently based on various datasets, from tabular data to images and videos, audio recordings and texts. They identify complex patterns in data arrays for more accurate predictions, and automate decision-making processes for challenging practical cases.
