22.03.01 Materials Science and Materials Technology
You will acquire research and testing skills, learn all about properties of materials and how they are impacted by micro- and nanostructures. You will be prepared to engage in the development of new materials production technologies, coating processing and process control systems.
After your bachelor's degree, you can further study materials science at TPU's Master's program, including in the English-taught one.
Key competencies
- design of structural and functional inorganic and organic materials, composites and hybrid materials, ultra-hard and smart materials, nanomaterials, films and coatings;
- testing, diagnostics and quality control of materials;
- modeling of materials behavior, assessment and prediction of their performance properties;
- technological processes development;
- drafting regulatory and engineering documentation and certification systems for materials and products, technological processes of their production and processing.
